The Figure is an ongoing project featuring a series of photos from daily life, captured with a smartphone camera. In these images, various human figures cover their faces with hands or objects, reflecting the subjects' rejection of being photographed. These hiding gestures reveal the subtle pressure generated by image production through cameras. Such actions demonstrate not only a refusal of the apparatus but also a distrust of the potential uses of those digital images, including their dissemination to unknown users through communication software or their upload to social media.
